Project 3 Reflection
I definitely plan to use my website when I have a classroom of my own. It is a great tool for communication with parents and will help to connect with students outside of the classroom. I will have to stay up to date with my calendar and assignments, but it will be worth it and will benefit my students. Hopefully the school I end up teaching at will have computers available to students to use in the classroom, allowing me to orchestrate tech-infused lessons. I will be sure to include links to other helpful websites for students to access at home. I feel that students will really be able to benefit from this. If my future classroom does not have computer access for all students I will still create tech-infused lessons but they will not be able to participate as much as I would like them to be able to.
A few of my favorite tools from this class are Quizlet and Study Stack. These are both great websites to create study guides for my students to use. My other favorite tool from this class has been Delicious. I can now access a bunch of great educational websites very easily. The more websites I tag, the better inventory of websites I will have to use in the future in my own classroom.
